Welcoming Free-Tier Publishing Participants and New Integrations Across Leading Research Tools

GetFTR (Get Full Text Research) is pleased to announce significant expansion across its publisher network and research-discovery ecosystem, reflecting its commitment to supporting organisations of all sizes and strengthening global access to trusted scholarly content.

New Publishers Join Through the GetFTR Free-Tier Programme

The GetFTR free-tier programme, which is designed to help smaller publishers realise the benefits of GetFTR at no cost, has welcomed three new partners:

  • King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies
  • Acta Physica Sinica
  • Life Science Alliance

The addition of these publishers demonstrates GetFTR’s commitment to supporting a diverse, global research landscape and ensuring that high-quality content from all regions is visible, accessible, and easy for researchers to discover wherever their journeys begin.

APA Expands Its Participation with GetFTR

GetFTR is also delighted to announce that the American Psychological Association (APA) has expanded its use of GetFTR, in addition to successfully integrating its A&I discovery platform APA PsycInfo with GetFTR (see our Case Study). This means APA is now participating as a publisher, meaning APA’s content will be signposted and accessible via any research or discovery tool integrated with GetFTR, and all websites for those using the GetFTR Browser Extension.

This expansion ensures more trusted access to authoritative psychology and behavioural-science research across the global discovery ecosystem.

New Research & Discovery Integrations Expand the Ecosystem

Several important tools and platforms have recently joined the GetFTR integrator network:

  • Cypris – an AI-powered research platform
  • CAS BioFinder Discovery Platform – surfacing data and solutions across drug discovery workflows

These platforms join the growing suite of research and discovery tools integrated with GetFTR, strengthening the connection between researchers and authoritative full-text content.

Strengthening Access, Increasing Visibility, Supporting Researchers

These new partnerships reflect GetFTR’s continued mission: to ensure researchers always have clear, accurate, and reliable pathways to the trusted full-text content they are entitled to access.

Dianne Benham, Director of Product for GetFTR said: We’re particularly proud that our newest partners represent such a diverse range of organisations, from regional and specialist publishers to global research platforms. Expanding trusted access is at the heart of GetFTR’s mission, and these collaborations demonstrate how we can support organisations of all sizes while helping researchers navigate an increasingly complex discovery landscape.”

Whether researchers begin their journey in AI tools, discovery services, abstracting and indexing databases, or anywhere across the web, GetFTR helps publishers ensure their content can be found and accessed quickly and efficiently
