The webinar provided a high-level overview of COUNTER syndicated usage best practice guidelines, the role that GetFTR plays in supporting off-platform usage, and the status of DUL.

Launched more than three years ago, GetFTR continues to grow and develop. We are adding new publishers, discovery services, and integrators, and are opening up new use cases where GetFTR is adding value in exciting and sometimes unforeseen ways.
This webinar showcased how GetFTR enriches reference lists and demonstrated a new service that brings the power of GetFTR directly to your browser. The new browser extension will mean researchers will be able to access GetFTR links to trustworthy, published content directly from Google Scholar, PubMed and Web of Science.

The webinar also provided a first look at our new program to offer no-cost access to smaller publishers, hosted with Atypon and Silverchair.
Guest presenters included Deborah Plavin of the American Society for Microbiology, which recently implemented GetFTR, alongside Elias Balafoutis from Atypon and Emily Hazzard from Silverchair.
